An effectively bilingual Singaporean who has specialised in tutoring Secondary ("O" Level, IGCSE, IB Middle Years Programme) and Post-Secondary ("A" and "AS" Level, IB Diploma Programme) students in both English, Chinese and General Paper since 2014, Mr. Neo has conducted both one-to-one home tuition lessons and been engaged by various tuition centres across Singapore for group tuition classes.

His past and present students include those from international schools and schools run by Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE), as well as private candidates taking the Singapore national examinations, in addition to UK-based examinations such as those of Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel. A large majority of his students have made it to top universities in Singapore, Australia, the UK and USA.

Being brought up in a digital era since young, the youth of today are expected to be more knowledgeable of current issues facing the planet than previous generations. However, in his years of teaching, Mr. Neo has unfortunately found the reverse to be true. Devices should act as a means to access the wealth of information available on the internet, to kick-start learning and start empowering people, but many parents today just “feed” the wrong message to their children – that it is alright to be playing games on their devices for hours on end, that it is fine to be gaming on their phones, tablets and computers instead of tapping on them constructively. So much so that many students in Singapore and beyond are growing increasingly ignorant of the plight of various groups of people across the world.

His belief is to be able to engage students in meaningful conversations and spark off insightful discussions with respect to the numerous issues revolving around our daily lives today, in areas that are growing in importance by the day, such as the environment, healthcare, politics, culture, society, technology, travel and leisure and many more. It is when we create discussions that we become more aware of what other people are facing, hone our analytical skills and start thinking more deeply into the range of challenges brought about by life.
